This page explains the standard we hold the site to, what we have done so far, and how to tell us when something gets in your way.

What accessibility standard does this website follow?
We work to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at Level AA. The guidelines are published by the World Wide Web Consortium, and they are the benchmark most accessibility laws and courts point to. Level AA covers things like readable color contrast, text descriptions for images, full keyboard access, and a page structure that assistive technology can follow.
What have we done to make the site easier to use?
- Every page starts with a "Skip to Main Content" link, so keyboard and screen reader users can jump past the menu.
- Pages are built with headings and landmarks (header, main content, footer) that screen readers can move between.
- Photos of our turf, paver and court projects carry text descriptions.
- The quote request form has labels on every field and can be filled out with a keyboard alone.
- Icon links, such as our social media buttons, have names a screen reader can announce.
- We test pages with the axe accessibility engine against the WCAG 2.0, 2.1 and 2.2 Level A and AA rules, and fix what it finds.
Are there parts of the site we cannot fully control?
Yes. A few pieces come from other companies: the Google map on our contact page, YouTube videos, the Google reCAPTCHA check on our forms, and the loan application pages run by our financing partner. We pick these tools with care, but we cannot change how they are built. If one of them blocks you, tell us and we will get you what you need another way, such as taking your quote request over the phone.
Automated testing also has limits. It catches many problems, not all of them, which is why we treat reports from real visitors as the most useful check we have.
